LAB 601’s “Big Palm” Named 48 Hour Contest Finalist – Open for Creation

LAB 601’s “Big Palm” Named 48 Hour Contest Finalist

LAB 601 again fielded a team in the annual 48 Hour Film Project to build staff camaraderie and showcase the talents of its creatives and clients. Under the contest rules, each team is given a genre, prop and line of dialogue around which to build a movie in 48 hours. Led by director Noel Dowd, producer Nancy Bielenberg and DP Scott Ippolito, Team For A Good Time Call 404-876-4601 produced the comedy short “Big Palm” from a script by Jen Kelley and Michael Dunn. LAB techs Jay Hunt and Azita Ayagh shared editing duties, Justin Sucara handled graphics and compositing and Blake Eiseman crafted the sound design and mix. Composer Huston Singletary created the score.  The 10 finalist films will play at the 2006 Atlanta Film Festival to determine the winner. (May 2006)
