Tyler Perry Ready To Share His “Payne”

The first ten episodes of executive producer/writer Tyler Perry’s highly anticipated sitcom “House Of Payne” are ready for broadcast. LAB 601 handled all post-production duties for the Hi-Def laffer- the first nationally distributed sitcom ever produced in Georgia. The series is produced by Reuben Cannon and Roger Bobb and is being distributed in first run syndication by Demar-Mercury. Other syndicated Demar-Mercury properties include the television series “South Park” and “Farscape” and the Revolution Studios and Lions Gate Entertainment libraries. The first episodes of “House of Payne,” featuring veteran actor Allen Payne (“Playa’s Ball” and “The Perfect Storm”) as a testy fire chief heading a multi-generational family living under one roof, will begin airing in select markets in Summer 2006.
